The Ameritron AL-82 is everything a serious tube amplifier should be. A front panel with dual illuminated meters covering plate current, grid current, HV, output power and ALC feedback. A 12-volt DC jack on the back for accessories. Under the lid you’ll find the backbone: a Peter Dahl transformer in early models, Harbach builds to Dahl spec in later years, Cornell Dubilier capacitors and a full-wave bridge rectifier that keeps voltage steady at full key-down.
