Gatekeeper Built LDMOS 2xBLF188XR Single Pallet Linear Amplifier
This is the 2nd LDMOS Unit that I built.
This unit is equipped with a Switchable Thermal Protection Switch. RX To TX Switching Via an Optocoupler.
This unit, unlike some of the others, have 50v Fans on top….OMG these jokers was unbelievably fast and loud so I had to run a series of sandbar resistors to knock these bad boys down to around 18v and they still were sending loads of air dropped from 50v to 18 lol.
This unit turned out great. I added an extra power choke just for testing and adding a few other mods to get a bit more output. It is always best though to use single device pallets & you will get more output and things will run cooler that way.
