I like to call these the Suncrushers – gigantic radio tubes used to create the high energy plasma in fusion reactors. These two, Eimac 4CW300,000G and 8974, were used on Princeton University’s tokamak fusion reactor project. These types were also used in powerful megawatt class broadcast transmitters. I am probably going to try selling or trading these off soon (they really do not fit in my tube collection). Here is a quick look before they go.
